Love should be the one requesting a trade:dahell:
Dude went from putting up historic stats to becoming Sam Perkins

Kyrie is a one dimensional scoring PG in as good a situation as he's gonna get.
Basically, it's him and bron trading off going one on one all game.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Kevin Love becomes the Cavs great hope after Bron and Kyrie flee:russ:

I keep telling people, that whole "people love to play with Lebron" shyt is over hyped. Too many all Star caliber players have seen their numbers drop and their reputations take a hit playing beside him.

Smart dumb nikka in the Coli

It's not that people don't want to play with Bron it's that Bron always has opt outs and can leave at anytime. Kyrie doesn't want to be stuck in Cleveland when Bron bounces

Stop bein a Lipstick Alley ass nikka

And Shaq won more rings with Kobe :childplease:

Significantly more rings despite hopping from bandwagon to bandwagon to get rings in Miami (he did one), Boston, Cleveland, and even the Suns :childplease:

Kobe didn't want to play with lazy, Diva Shaq who wasn't trying to defer to Kobe... so
no shyt. Shaq asked to get traded after the team made the right decision and went with Kobe

Kyrie asking to get traded because after years of dealing with this shyt he's ready to go off and make a name for himself somewhere else and he wants to do it before Lebron dips off on another teammate and leave them high and dry again

No shyt Sherlock but Shaq was clearly the best player on that lakers team as Lebron is on this cavs team. Kobe always wanted to be a focal point instead of just sitting back and riding the rest of shaqs prime. That's the point. Kyrie wants to be his own man and it makes sense to do it now before another Lebron PR stunt comes cause it is coming.

How you high and dry if LeBron leaves hypothetically? He would still have Kevin Love, he would still have that cast of role players, LeBron's cap hold would allow the Cavs to get an above average replacement and role players. And Kyrie would be up for a super max.

If Bron really is set on leaving already, than it really shouldn't be too much of a big deal to him for this one season. If Dan could make a decent trade for Kyrie w/ multiple players in return, Cavs will probably still be in the finals anyway. Regardless of if Kyrie is there vs not there, the outcome of losing to the Warriors is still inevitable though.
Hypothetically, if the Cavs sign Rose and they were to trade Kyrie for KP & Melo, Cavs core would be:
KP/Love/Melo/Bron/JR/Rose/TT
Sign Rose and trade him for Wiggins it would be:
TT/Love/Bron/Wiggins/Rose/JR

They could trade him to the Suns or Nuggets for multiple pieces as well
:yeshrug:

huh? Sign Rose, then trade him for Wiggins? Then he wouldn't be part of that lineup. And Minny isn't trading Wiggins.

How? John Wall didn't want Otto Porter to get that contract. He threw Otto under the bus and said We have the Point, the SG, The forward and the Center.

Washington gave Wall a 170m contract extension this summer and Wall ain't sign it. This is coming from a nikka that pocket watches everyones contract

Westbrook still hasn't signed his extension either- should OKC trade for Kyrie?

Also, what's up with your fetish for Wall?

this is fascinating for a few reasons.

1. Is Kyrie wanting out because the writing is on the wall about LeBron leaving? IMO the bigger question is would LeBron be that obtuse to think his legacy would be unblemished by leaving Cleveland again?

2. Lets say Kyrie is leaving for purely "selfish" reasons (wanting to be the man, the focal point of the organization)....I honestly cant blame him. Looking at other guys that he may be of equal talent with (Wall, Harden, IT3,), Kyrie is indeed on the outside looking in as far as being of their stature. While he's still quite young (25) he isn't getting any younger either. His early career woes on the Cavs really cant be blamed on him as he was never THAT type of player to lead them out of the pit they were in. Only a handfull of NBA players in history have been THAT good.

3. I love LeBron, he's better than Kobe, top 5 of all time...but the chickens are really coming home to roost. Objectively speaking, this Cavs was constructed well and to WIN NOW. But the problem with winning now is you have to exchange youth for vets and if you DONT win now, you're stuck with a stagnant team.

Not to mention we've talked ad nauseam about Lebrons play style. Great for assists, points and rebounds for Bron but revolves around him too much. To a fault.

Kyrie got his shots true, but its possible that he's asking for MORE in terms of control of the offense. He may be savvy enough to realize that ball movement is becoming more and more a treasured asset in the NBA. And you're not prying the ball out of Lebron hands unless they're cold and dead.

So you're stuck with a aging team that has to leverage its future, with a mercurial superstar, to get better.

A team with not enough ball movement or versatile players to contend with the current Golden State team.

A team with no competent coach or GM for that matter to get all of this straightened out.

Thats where the Cavs are at now and this is Lebrons fault.

I don't want to penalize Lebron and the Cavs for not being perfect in their decision making.

But in an increasingly unselfish NBA, one that is now asking more of its front offices, coaches and players collectively....the disconnect is painfully glaring.

If the Cavs had a "all in for the team" mentality like the Warriors or Spurs, I don't think kyrie wants to leave. But when you're stuck on a ship headed for a iceberg with a captain who WILL NOT change course yet is known to abandon ship....why stay on that ship?
