I can understand if a player leaves his team for more money or leaves for more winning but Kyrie is already in a situation where he gets both. Automatic trips to the finals and Cavs can offer him a super max in the future. The fact that he wants a trade in the middle of his contract is alarming. Something must really be going on behind the scenes.
Some people say he's worried about Lebron leaving. Other people are saying he just wants to get away from Lebron's shadow. No matter what the real reason is, any team trading for him should be careful and not give up too much. He can leave in 2 years and he's shown that money and winning isn't enough to keep him.
I wouldn't read too much into Kyrie in all this because it's Cleveland.
Kyrie can have money in Cleveland, but he's only getting one more trip to the Finals (already has three of those) and he ain't winning after that. He's very likely not getting a ring next year. His team just fired its management, and didn't even hire anyone else, and the owner is an ass. And it's Cleveland.
There are more than enough reasons for him to leave.
