Presumably, he'd be going to a team with better players than an old Antawn Jamison, Deng after Thibs ran through him and rookie Dion Waiters.
Here's my thing with that.

If those guys were holding him back, why are his passing numbers almost exactly the same with better players? The simple answer is he didn't improve, he is who he is, and he's identifiable by those around him. That's not a franchise talent description. That's not even a Joe Johnson talent-level description. Some guys peak early. That's Kyrie. I'm not saying he's trash or anything like that, but to the team's looking to land him? There's some young talent out there I'd be hesitant to offer up just to let Kyrie run the show....

Dude is clutch, but plenty of guys around the league are - the problem they face is that they're never in the fukking game when the 4th quarter rolls around OR they're gassed from carrying a team for 35+ minutes a night.

You post all this to mean that you are nervous right now about Kyrie leaving

I'm not saying they were holding him back, I'm saying he was on teams with limited talent.

If he gets to play next to Giannis/Parker, Porzingis, Booker, Nurkic/whatever guards they keep, there wouldn't be similarities to life before Bron.

Kyrie is unguardable so stop it
You put LBJ across from a top 10 player at any other position along with Love in the corner and damn near every single one would be unguardable.

Does a single thing in Cleveland change if you replace Kyrie with CJ McCollum next year? Maybe he'll actually pass to Love when the guy is about to put up one of the best scoring performances of his career instead of getting tunnel vision.

shyt, at Booker runs a PnR better than Kyrie does too

I'm saying that if he was the kind of player to be held back, or to player better with better teammates - then it'd come out through his passing and efficiency with the ball. It hasn't changed significantly. He plays the same way, he just benefits from a great players gravity.

This isn't a James Harden situation where he never got to showcase what he can do. Hell, he's got more opportunities now with better talent and freedom with all the tools an NBA PG needs to be successful than most young PGs will see in their entire careers.

When he's getting tagged full court again and spending the next 12 seconds of the shotclock trying to get the ball back he's gonna be looking funny all over again.

Unless he's in Denver :patrice: two great passing bigs is probably exactly what he needs

With LBJ.

:gucci:

LBJ leaves the floor and that team falls off a cliff. And the whole "the team is built for LBJ" argument is just as stupid. He's got better shooters on the wings than he had before, he's got bigs that clear out for him, he's got a coach that keeps guys disciplined (JR hasn't shot a team out of a game in YEARS and for that alone Cleveland should be commended). And its just for a few minutes at a time when LBJ is off the floor. He can't do it at even a mediocre level.

I can't stand IT - but even that midget can get the offense going in Boston. When Beal was always hurt in Washington, Wall made shyt happen with trash juice 2-5.

Kyrie's highlights got yal perturbed imo.

I'll let you tell it until we actually watch Kyrie doing work when the season starts

In 2 yrs you'll be begging for a PG that can score 15ppg

Nah, you put him with Giannis and they would be a problem. Hop off the old SF wave and get on the new one, plus he could go to the Bucks on some veteran "Let me show you what it takes to win young fella" shyt :lolbron:
Giannis already got his bags packed and let it be known :mjpls:

Maybe they can meet up in LA :mjpls:

lebron out produced all of those guys in the same series:camby:
He did not vs kawhi games 3-5, and no one thinls he played better than durant this series. This is why bron stans are the worst, they only look at the aggregate of stats, and not context.

I didnt forget bron st aying in blowouts so his numbers could look better vs the spurs

KD came through and crushed the buildings, I don't care about no triple double avg when your team lose in 5.
