I feel like he's gonna go and in return they're going to get one or two mediocre players with a tsunami number of draft picks mixed in like a 3 team, 4 team trade deal. You're probably going to get something that includes 1st and 2nd round picks over a three year period like 18,19, and 2020.

I doubt anything comes out clean in all of this. It'll be confusing with a lot of risk taking if anything.

You aren't gonna get anything that is straight up like a Wiggins or Melo or anyone of that caliber imo for the simple reason that the contracts are just too massive and that many of these players are overpaid as it is. Period.

Besides, a team like the Cavs can't afford to take on any of these new max contracts, they already have the highest SC in the league.

Plus you have to factor in with guys like Wiggins and Butler, there is a degree of loyalty, commitment and "understandings" that the teams have just agreed to with to those guys. I don't see them ripping nay of that up right now.


Had this been discussed and brought out in the open earlier on, like right after the finals, I think it would have happened really quick with a lot of takers looking to wheel and deal but most of the teams who were looking to make major moves are wrapping things up at this point.
