you're right...but still Dame has led the Blazers to the playoffs every year whether with allstars or by himself...

"Whether with allstars or by himself."

No. Stop this nonsense. Dame in the first 3 years of his career only led the Trail Blazers to the playoffs with All-stars. Period. LMA was an All-Star in all 3 of those years. And this wasn't fat, lumbering, mentally deficient LMA, but the LMA that Pop so desperately wanted to add to the Spurs. And on top of that, comparing Dame and Kyrie on this measure for anything other than the first 3 years isn't an apples to apples comparison.

Kyrie had a collection of reanimated corpses hydrating off 50 year old toxic waste from shuttered Ohio factories to "play" with until LeBron "came home" 11 days after signing his 5-year contract extension.

There is absolutely no comparison to be made. We haven't yet seen what Kyrie can do while leading a team constructed around his skillset.

And there you have it ladies & gentlemen:
The Mind of a Lebron Hater

:dead::dead::dead:
"Warriors only won because Kyrie and Love were hurt"
"Warriors lost because they finally faced a healthy Cavs
team"

Now

"Warriors are too good"

In the mind of a Bron stan Warriors were never better than Cleveland when healthy but adding KD was unfair :russell:

Its not my job to tell you what makes sense. someone put it out that Kyrie's done in Cleveland, and everyone knows whose camp it was.
Simmons talked about this and i agree. Lebron people leaked kyrie asked for a trade so that lebron can look more sympathetic when he leaves next year. All the dysfunction made him leave is going to be the story he tells people.

this is the part that kills me with yall. if he struggled playing with all those snipers on the cavs, what the hell type of players do you think he needs around him?
i think any great player would love to have players around that space the floor if nothing else.

the warriors lost because they choked.... bron and kyrie went HAM, but they still choked (specifically Curry). they were the better TEAM there is no question.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
The same Russell Westbrook that won an MVP on a 40 win team and who's stock was elevated by KD leaving?

:jbhmm:

Both KD and Westbrook had great years last year. KD had the better year because he actually won the title, not because he got further than Westbrook, not because he got to the finals, but because he won the title. Kyrie getting to the finals and losing as a sidekick doesn't mean much for his legacy overall Vs Kylie getting his minutes as a leader or CO-leader.

I agree Kylie needs to learn to be a passing point guard to elevate his game. He can do that without LBJ. Who's opinions on Kyrie widely changed after 2016? That was still seen as LBJ's title. What Kyrie did in the playoffs through the first 3 series was moot after LBJ went off in Game 4 when Cle started to make the comeback. I don't see what Kyrie stands to lose by leaving LBJ.

Even if Kyrie goes to a contender with another superstar, Kyrie's contributions wouldn't be overshadowed in the same way it is, when playing with lbj. You have to understand, the narrative with LBJ is always that all teammates have to rely on him, even off the court. Just like that interview when Kyrie informed the reporter that he only has one father.

:pachaha:
Let's start with mine immediately following the Finals:

After those first two games he was absolutely amazing. Cavs simply don't win games 5 and 7 without his sensational performances. Going against the reigning 2X MVP this nikka took the biggest step forward on the biggest stage--flat out outplayed Steph. He wasn't afraid of anyone. He wasn't scared of this moment. I'll forever remember his relentlessness, his clutchness, his ball-handling, his ankle-breaking, his insane finishes near the rim. That go ahead 3 to break that tie at 89 is one of the biggest shots I've ever seen in the Finals. Maybe I'm just in the moment but I don't see how you can leave him out of any discussion about who the top PG is. Hope he stays healthy so he can continue to show and prove. Cold-blooded mafukka. :salute: Uncle Drew. You were incredible.

And pretty much everyone else in this thread: Post NBA Championship, your thoughts on Kyrie Irving..

This is what's wrong with online reporting. The guy who said LeBron is "eager" to see Kyrie gone did not state that he had that from a source. So that could just be his (hasty) conclusion from what was earlier reported. And now all these other sites are running with it as if there is an actual source for thinking that LeBron has indicated that he is eager to see Kyrie gone. They're only trying to create news with this rather than report it. Kyrie will hear of this and he will feel some type of way even though LeBron might not have indicated any sign of being eager to see Kyrie go. Embarrassing 'journalism'.
This is exactly how I've been feeling since the beginning, 80% of this nonsense is media created, and people are running with it.
