I'm not expecting anything to happen right away though that could obviously change.

They got like half the league calling for him. :yeshrug:

They expect a Godfather deal. Players that can help now, prospects, and picks.

We'll see how good Altman is.

I'm taking Bledsoe/TJ Warren/and Bender or Miamis 1st.

If they could swing Kyrie to Boston for IT, Brown, and Morris
Swing K.Love to the Knicks for Melo and Willy Hernangomez I think they would have upgraded
Especially with Rose and if they resign Derrick Williams

Yup. The two Narratives Steven A is putting out don't even make sense.

Lebron is mad cause Kyrie drug his name through the mud

Kyrie is mad cause Lebron leaked the story.

Why the fukk would Lebron leak the story with his own name attactched, then get mad a Kyrie for the story being out there?????:comeon:

Wouldn't be suprised if all this shyt is lies
KEvin Durant called out this toupee wearing, loud ass cornball a few years ago..

Players are supposed to turn their teams into playoff squads in their first 3 years in the league now? :skip:

Kyrie was 19, 20 & 21 those three years before LeBron came back. Since when do we expect 20 year old rookies to take over the league? And Cleveland was STRAIGHT TRASH, fukking had Anthony Bennett playing in their lineup. Yall gotta stop with that talking point.

Yea it took Curry his 4th season to make the playoffs and he had injury problems like Kyrie

This is what's wrong with online reporting. The guy who said LeBron is "eager" to see Kyrie gone did not state that he had that from a source. So that could just be his (hasty) conclusion from what was earlier reported. And now all these other sites are running with it as if there is an actual source for thinking that LeBron has indicated that he is eager to see Kyrie gone. They're only trying to create news with this rather than report it. Kyrie will hear of this and he will feel some type of way even though LeBron might not have indicated any sign of being eager to see Kyrie go. Embarrassing 'journalism'.

Kyrie's status won't be elevated unless:

A) he continues to have success in the playoffs
B) he adds the ability to make plays for others in a steady fashion
C) he transforms on the defensive end to be anything other than a liability

He's given no indication of being able to do B or C. And A will likely not be possible unless he's going to a good team which may run counter to what you're proposing--i.e. Kyrie can go be the alpha elsewhere. Let's remember that Kyrrie's stock has elevated since being partnered with LBJ--largely because he has had the opportunity to be featured on the grandest stage in the NBA Finals. Riddle me this, who had the better season last year between Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant? How you answer will say everything.
The same Russell Westbrook that won an MVP on a 40 win team and who's stock was elevated by KD leaving?

:jbhmm:

Both KD and Westbrook had great years last year. KD had the better year because he actually won the title, not because he got further than Westbrook, not because he got to the finals, but because he won the title. Kyrie getting to the finals and losing as a sidekick doesn't mean much for his legacy overall Vs Kylie getting his minutes as a leader or CO-leader.

I agree Kylie needs to learn to be a passing point guard to elevate his game. He can do that without LBJ. Who's opinions on Kyrie widely changed after 2016? That was still seen as LBJ's title. What Kyrie did in the playoffs through the first 3 series was moot after LBJ went off in Game 4 when Cle started to make the comeback. I don't see what Kyrie stands to lose by leaving LBJ.

Even if Kyrie goes to a contender with another superstar, Kyrie's contributions wouldn't be overshadowed in the same way it is, when playing with lbj. You have to understand, the narrative with LBJ is always that all teammates have to rely on him, even off the court. Just like that interview when Kyrie informed the reporter that he only has one father.

Same nikkas backin Kyrie for bein "a alpha" leaving a championship team to have his own is the same nikkas who backed Kevin Durant for bein " a beta" leaving his own team to join an already championship team

:heh: The 73 win warriors added Kevin Durant.. he didnt need an "excuse" in the first place
LeBron beat the 73 win Warriors. Unless you think him beating them was a lucky anomaly you cant give him credit for losing to a team he beat the previous year just because that team added 1 more player regardless of how good that added player is.
