Taurean Prince is not really a 3&D player...mainly bc he's not a good defender

Garrett Temple has never played any high stakes hoops

TLC is a bum, and is an end of the bench type of player

As I said earlier, they need Marcus Morris, Avery Bradley, Jerami Grant type players
He tried it :mjlol:

Prince is a good defender, except like most role players who're put in positions which exceed their ability, like he typically was last season (with all the injuries the Nets had to deal with), their game suffers. With a full rotation, he can focus on what he is good at, instead of exerting energy in areas that compromise his strengths. And please, let's not act like Marcus Morris is somehow going to take the Nets' defense to the next level in place of him. We all saw what happened to his game last season when he was taken from a starring role on the Knicks, where he could pick his spots, and thrown into a complementary role on the Clippers, where he was often forced the ball, out of the rhythm.

Temple has played 30 Playoff games and Bradley has played 39 Playoff games - there's no discernable difference there where Bradley's high-stakes game experience is going to provide another layer of shooting/defense over Temple. Especially since that Temple has 4-5 years of experience on him.

TLC shot 39% from behind the arc and was the Nets' best player on a number of occasions in the games he played in last season.

None of those players you mentioned, or those type of players, are going to fulfill the needs of the Nets. At the moment, they have no experienced floor generals/stabilizers (which is going to be that more important with how Kyrie and KD play) and big bodies that can defend the PnR, because Allen simply isn't enough on his own.

Thoughts on a possible Jrue Holiday for Caris Levert trade that everyone has been talking about recently?
They'd need to package someone like Dinwiddie to match salaries, which would be gutting their backcourt depth. And I don't know if that's worth it, particularly given the state of Kyrie's health. Prince is another option to package with Levert, but then that would sacrifice their forward versatility/defense, given the same circumstances around KD's health.

Prince is a bum

A vet with 4 to 5 more seasons of exp & less playoff games

:mjlol:

The Nets were FORCED to play TLC bc of opt-outs & injuries, he's a BUM. Ask any Sixers fan (I'm not one) about their feelings on TLC.

They need a perimeter defender and a combo-F defender, hence the names I listed

Prince is a bum but TLC played well minus a few games..theres a place for him on the roster but i wouldn't mind an upgrade.. Again tho the biggest hole on the team is up front

If Jarrett Allen gets stronger, him and DJ should be enough to anchor the paint.

the nba is layups & threes now, no need to run post offense through your C anymore

Morris isn't shifting the needle in place of him (especially since he doesn't complement KD/Kyrie). Period. Nets have no pieces of value or fit where the Nuggets would trade Grant.

Do you seriously think Bradley's 9 more playoff games experience is somehow the defining factor of him having more 3-D value over Temple? Or do you think that it's easily negated by Temple playing 4-5 more seasons? Are you seriously trying to argue some redundant shyt over an insignificant difference of two role players' experience that doesn't address the squad's actual issues?

The Nets have more than enough 3-D components throughout their roster, that adding to it isn't suddenly going to give the team any fixed balance. What they really need is player(s) who can bring all these pieces together and have them on the same page, and another defensive big man. They don't want to suffer a similar demise to the Clippers who had all this talent and 3-D players, yet had no structure/identity on offense and the bare minimum of defensive big personnel.

DJ is the real bum here. He's trash. One of the worst so-called defensive bigs in the league. The Nets can't solely rely on Allen, who's improved on the defensive end (particularly on the perimeter/PnR) but simply isn't enough by himself.

nikkas never had to sit through the turbulence. 12 win season, ya gm trading away your future for some :flabbynsick: players, having to rely on homegrown young talent and outcasts to grind a franchise out the mud. They only see the sunny blue skies :wow:

Signing Travis Outlaw for 5 years and having him turn into the worst player in the league :francis:

A starting frontcourt of fukking Yi Jianlian and Josh Boone :francis:

Nenad Krstic in the cut :francis:

Trading away the pick that became Dame :francis:

We done been paid our motherfukking dues breh.
