The Truth
Lets keep race out of this and keep it strictly basketball. Off the court Lebron is an excellent guy to model after in terms of putting his dudes on, making right business moves, and giving back to his community, but we are talking about basketball legacy here.
They always jump to that shyt. No body talking about dudes personal life, no one gives a fukk about that. Good for him

We talking about him playing the game of basketball and the way he weasels his way to the finals every year

Pre pippen? Jordan did not win with PIppen right away. In fact if you watch those Piston and Bulls series, it was always Pippen who was wetting the bed in those series before they were finally able to break through.. Jordan and Pippen grew together. We already knew Bron, Wade, and Bosh were going to win. Do your homework.
That's cool but he DID grow right and then they got their champion chips. It's alright every great needed help.

You have to be trolling.
Tell me, what version of Kidd was better than '15/'16- current Lowry (over the last two seasons)? I'm not talking about what they've acheived over their careers (obviously Kidd has him covered), just comparing them at their peaks.

New Jersey Net Kidd. That Kidd had Lowry beat in every category except points/ Better defender, floor general, and leader. Also carried his team to two back to back finals appearances. Also Kidd was not a lay down nor backed down from a player that was superior to him in his past era. New Jersey was Kidd's peak and Lowry would not be able to sniff that.

Wrong.

:dead: at some of these "categories" you listed. A player's worth isn't weighed by how many vague, made-up categories he's better at, but by how much impact he has on the game.

By that logic, do you also think Kidd is better than this version of Steph Curry? :jbhmm:

By that logic, is every PG who can be classifed as a better defender, leader and floor general better than this version of Steph Curry? :jbhmm:
Also carried his team to two back to back finals appearances
:dead:

He played in the East during argubaly its weakest ever period. This Raptors squad would've gone to back-to-back Finals if they played during that time. You think a Kidd-led team would've had any Finals apperances if they played in the same conference/same time as LeBron? Of course he wouldn't. He wouldn't even come close.
Also Kidd was not a lay down nor backed down from a player that was superior to him in his past era.
And neither has Lowry. I don't get the sense in bringing this up.

So you telling me Lowry's impact on Toronto is greater than Kidd's impact on that Nets team that went to two finals back to back with him as the leader? Please think carefully.

:merchant:

Would those Nets squads have beaten this Cavs squad over the last two seasons? Please think carefully.

Also Lebron has played on stacked teams for the past seven seasons, so it would be hard for any team to beat that without pieces to counter Lebron's pieces.
