I need to watch the 1st episode again. I like where this show is going. I didn't think medieval and Kurt Sutter would work but there is enough fukkery for me to keep watching.

No Whammies!!
The first hour was not good, but after that things got set in place. This has a lot of similarities to Sons of Anarchy. If they can keep it interesting, I can rock with this.

I agree, the 2nd half was much better than the first. Also I could barely understand the dialog in first episode. I actually found it harder to follow than subtitled shows like "Deutschland 83" or "Narcos". The second half was easier to understand. I don't know if I just got used to it, or if was just because the second half was more about action.

I also found it pretty funny that the priest at the end was the "Opulence...I has it!" guy/True Detective Russian mobster, speaking with an English accent.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about the random black "Moor back from the Crusades" character yet. I guess they're trying to be like a 90's Robin Hood movie.

Yeah, I think the black dude can be there as long as he is the right religion.
