This is a shockingly dumb opinion. Especially since I've seen his work and agree with him in the past. I thought he was more thoughtful than this.
People keep trying to make it about just one thing, but it's not. The specific words Trump used on that day carry context. Ignoring context because it makes your analysis easier is just lazy.
If I went on Twitter and said to storm the capitol, everyone would ignore me. But if I had a 100 million follow my every word on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc. for 4 years, then a good amount of people would listen. Especially if I riled them up using those platforms for so long.

Some people on here do that, but that is not where I’m coming from. I think CNN, MSNBC and the rest of the main stream media are jokes. However, it doesn’t mean all online media is correct. I think Kyle is worth listening to but you have to keep in mind his blind spots when it comes to race, and his single mindedness on certain issues. But overall I think Kyle is genuine with his opinions and agenda. Ball, is an entirely different story. Both Ball, and Jimmy Dore give cover to right wing extremists. Too often when there are legitimate stories on the these right wingers they almost ignore them, and turn it back to the Democratic Party. I also have majors problems with Dems, but in some cases the GOP are clearly worse. Ball and Dore almost never make that point. They also give life to the fake populism on the right.
I don’t agree with any platform 100 percent, but Ben Dixon, The Majority Report (RIP Michael Brooks), Democracy Now, and The Real News are all good online news outlets. TYT is hit or miss, but they do have good content from time to time.
