We have influence from the way they speak Spanish on the Canary Islands, from Africa & the native Taino (barbeque for example). Just like everyone else shyt is all mixed up with different dialects. But we for some reason always get singled out for how we speak.(Mexicans too though)

They just mad they don't get our slang 2 Dominicans could have a full Spanish Convo next to any other Latino and they could not get 90% of what we talking bout. And we never call each other by our government name.
That's why DR "urban" music is blowing up all over the world and even PR Brehs is mad and swagger jacking Anuel just spent like 2 months in DR and snatched up one of our thots got all all booed up in Miami.

The point is , if you want quality or quantity (love or p*ssy); the options are limited if you don’t know Spanish. If you know Spanish, you have access to both if you feel like it.
