Krs is the true leader in rap.
My life isn't perfect, but I have a confession to make. If I didn't listen to Krs One's Self titled album from 1995 with health, wealth and self - I would be worse off or dead.
The reason is he made having integrity cool. Knowledge cool. But he was hardcore and factual. And imaginative.
He's another example to me of what "perfect" hip hop is. Like m.o.p. Big L and Brooklyn Academy.

KRS is one of them dudes who I respect to the highest degree possible but I never thought was dope, too simple. "Beef" is one of my favorite songs ever tho. I view KRS like I view the ill basketball dudes from the 60's - 70's, during their time they were the creme de la creme but when you compare them to the Jordan's and Kobe's and KD's and Bron's you can see the difference in skill. You can't say the same about Ra and G.Rap and even Kane to an extent, you can compare them to a lot of the dope rappers of today and they were just as nice back then, which is nuts.

I appreciate what you're saying but I feel Krs is better than most rappers today. I'm talking can hold up against them.

Okay. I'm not sure of Krs' core ideology I know he referred to Elijah Muhhamed.
I can't comment on Elijah but when Malcolm X died he dissed X on some I told you so shyt. Which feels off.
Personally I'd rather follow one of the 5 core religions. It's safer I feel.
The way I look at it is this Art Barr.
If Bam sexually abused kids - fukk Bam.
If he is innocent - fukk those accusers.
Krs stood up for Bam as any friend would to another friend being accused of something.
The other issue is Bam - this cultural icon of ours indeed doing something like that.
It's hard to accept. Imagine how Krs would feel.
Now Krs did state he stands for him. But the legal shyt is on Bam.

Krs One is in the clear for me tho.

This in general is the problem of "Following Men" or leaders. Including Bam.
