Problem with a place like Costco or Sam's Club is that you need to make sure you know what you want to eat as you have to buy in bulk most of the time. Buying Tuna? I think the pack at Sam's Club brings 12

I paid for a Sam's Club membership to buy HP Touchpads when they were having that crazy fire sale and made about $1,200 profit just off of that.

You can save that much in a couple trips (maybe even one if you are vicious on your shopping game).

I roll in looking for ten days worth of lunches for work (since really, that's where I an save the most money) then look for whatver meats look the best, and are the best deal (pause).

The real drawback comes if you aren't nice in the kitchen, though. Because if you cook the same thing all the time, you gonna be looking at that bulk pack of ground beef like
