I liked him with Ultra (Poppa Large was dope) and he had some solo albums that were good but dude is just too out there for me honestly a lot of the time. Dr. Octagon to me still is his best album to date followed by Dr. Dooom.
Just wanted to create the thread to show a little love to some one who if i had to pick my favorite rapper, he would probably be it. Been in the rap game since 1984 with the Ultramagnetic MC's and still is active. Created great aliases Dr.Octagon, Black Elvis, Dr.Doom, to name a few. Created many solo albums, group projects, and compilations all with different styles and twists to them.
Know im missing some albums but did not want to flood the post anymore than i have already.
Kool Keith is still leading the way for Hip Hop in 2022.
I feel grateful that I recorded a track with him. Thanks for upping this thread.

Top 10 MC ever. Saw him live back in 2003 after being a huge fan of his albums Black Elvis Lost in Space and of course Dr. Octagon. I’ve listened to most of his albums and use to throw Spankmaster in the CD player in my whip to see people’s reactions to “Drugs”.

one of my earliest memories of kool keith was his video for plastic world getting shyt on by ananda lewis on MTV. his work is definitely an acquired taste. he is very talented, but above all else, very original.
