Woods has a bigger reason to turn heel. He is basically the third wheel of the trio despite being the reason the New Day exist, without the New Day, both Kofi and Big E wouldn't have been world champions or with Kofi's case, headline WrestleMania. Woods only big achievement is winning the King of the Ring, but that was under an different management that didn't amount to anything like how it did for Gunther in the current management. There's a reason why he compared Odyssey to Big E, he's seeing history repeating itself where he's still in the same position.
