Kofi Kingston has got to be THE only entertaining babyface champ in wrestling period

Kofi’s character is more or less himself amped up to 11. Those have always been amongst the most likeable/relatable characters, and his journey to the top has been on that same wave. Add in the fact that he’s been performing on a different level since the start of the year and it’s not hard to see why he is the best baby face champ today

Cuz he had an organic underdog push that the fans got behind. A good worker for a long time finally got his shot at the top. Very relatable and just a true feel good story

I'm not particularly entertained by it. It might be a pretty decent face run considering those in recent years but I still don't tune in particularly excited to see what Kofi is doing. The only main roster shyt I'm kinda interested in is Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks. And I'm hoping Samoa Joe or Andrade win king of the ring.

The New Day just....gets it. Not just wrestling but modern entertainment in general. Everything about them character-wise feels genuine and real, and it helps that they know how to put on damn good matches.

It's a shame they'll always be stuck in the shadow of The Shield when people talk about this era, because The New Day is every bit as good. Hell, better in some aspects (New Day on the mic >>>>>>>>> The Shield both individually and as a group).
