Rocky was for his dad, Rocky Johnson, who is black, and Maivia for his grandfather, who is Samoan. That was his lineage in wrestling.

He was booed because no one wanted to see this blue chip baby face when the attitude era was just about to kick off. They even chanted "Die, Rocky, die."

People say he wasn't booked as black, he was booked as samoan, my response was always...when? His Nation days blatantly portrayed his character as black.There's no period in his career where his samoan background was played up to that extent. The only thing I can remember is WWE acknowledging his Anoai connection..but his Samoan side is more relevant in wrestling, his only black family connection in wrestling being his father, which was also acknowledged in his ring name.

People just need to keep it real and say what they feel. Dude is lightskin and his facial features ambiguous but 'WWE never portrayed him as black, only samoan ' is just historically false.

Rock was handed a bad card...but he flipped into being the biggest star ever. Kofi let a fake marine punk his ass to the point of him losing his push..dont sound like no real nygga. Bad News Brown wouldnt go for that.

The Rock forgave HulKKK Hoegan for his racist tirade but Kofi and the New Day are supposedly c00ns .When they're the only ones that called out Hoegan for his cism :mjpls:
