Pompano had 8 murders and 110,000 population in 2018... sounds like a nice city to me...

It's funny, I kinda agree with you all on this diss track being overrated, and I've been anti kodak for a little while since the Nipsey incident. But certain parts of Pompano get busy. The city as a whole is 120,000 residents. So you can't compare a city like Pompano as a whole to smaller crime ridden swaths of Atlanta, Philly, or LA. Pompano isn't a small town by any stretch. Everyday they sawing Florida off with the bugs bunny gif because of how supposedly "wild" Floridians are. I wish other folks thought as highly of Florida blacks as you do. Florida doesn't need anymore "street cred".

Riviera Beach is no joke. Fort Pierce as well. Same with Fort Myers. But they all have potential to be nice areas. Black folks in these beach accessible areas need to hold on to their homes as long as they can.

Like I said. I was IN ATL when T.I was poppin. And everyone I came across was dikkriding him. Some native ATL nikkas said it wasnt like that all over so I wasnt gonna argue about what was going on in they city but that def aint what I saw when I went out there.No clue.

But John Wicks doesn't even speak like Kodak. I'm wondering who Kodak is really influenced by. He's more influenced by New Orleans more so than Broward. Hell, Koly P too. Who was the OG in Golden Acres who put them on to that NO flow? Because even the Hot Boys and Cash Money did music with Zoe Pound and made inroads in Miami, no one in Miami at the time was actively trying to sound like them or use NO slang. I guess Broward is just a big mix. Some of that NO stuff even extends into Palm Beach. But then again, OG Palm Beach artist like Triple J sound absolutely nothing like that NO sound. Hell, Triple J's accent almost sounds "neutral" or "general AA" not even too Southern. Basically what I'm saying is, the similarities between NO and SoFla seemed more "organic"way back when, compared to what Broward is doing today, which seems more forced.
