why would this be illegal? Ultimately business people will do what they feel is best for the company. Its a fact that they don't like what Obamacare will do to the healthcare they offer regulations and fture taxes. They are most likely being honest in their assessment

No company wants to cause bad workplace morale or have a bad image. Thats why a lot of them do community outreach programs and do things for the environment. They want to give the impression they care they wouldn't make such claims if they didn't feel they were true ultimately

just live with the fact that there are tradeoffs to the policies Obama proposes you can't just increase benefits and free healthcare without it costing something somewhere else so the ones who bare the brunt of the cost will also make adjustments. These are called unintended consequences

Obama's policies aren't a magic wand that is common sense and will automatically make the world spring rainbows and have them rain skittles

I ont even like skittles fool...

We're talking about koch industries which is the most profitable non oil conglomerate in the world talking about layoffs? Im sure their employees see right through that scheme. They have had record profits damn near every year for 20 years. As a matter of fact it's not even known how much money the koch brothers even pull in annually for certain.

Company never went public, no share holders & no one to answer to... their hot body they do what they want.

In 2011, Forbes called it the second largest privately held company in the United States (after Cargill), with an annual revenue of about $98 billion

This is a good documentary on these dudes is on netflix right now.

Koch Brothers Exposed (2012) - IMDb

With that said its not surprising.

Good doc, @Serious approved © 2012

They did a good job touching up on AFP and the think tanks it supports.

I love how they broke it down and made the information accessibly for a general audience(no prior knowledge of political science needed).

Topics included: wealth inequality, institutionalized racism, climate change(pollution), the influence of money in politics.

I mean damn, I knew these C@C's play dirty, but :wow: . Those think tanks like the heritage foundation are out right blasphemy.

On a side note, I thought politicians where receiving much more from these cats. You can't tell me politicians are selling out for a measly 20-70k. There's got to be some under the table deals(lobbyist :scusthov: )

Yeah i couldnt believe when they showed the politicians and how much the Koch brothers donated to them.

Maybe they were selling out for little money at the start for long money later in their political careers.

Another doc that touches on their involvement on think-tanks is The Billionaires Tea Party

I think they make some paper products. but they're (Koch) mainly involved in the petroleum industry. that's why they're so involved in politics

 Ok so tell us, which of their products will you boycott?

BREH I ALREADY HAVE 3 CITIES ON MY shyt LIST. I DROVE ALMOST 3 HOURS TO PORT HURON FROM ANN ARBOR WHEN I COULD HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE ITEM I WANTED IN DEARBORN. I DON'T SPEND MONEY IN DEARBORN, LIVONIA, OR MADISON HEIGHTS. WHEN I BOYCOTT, I BOYCOTT.

LIVONIA AND MADISON HEIGHTS FOR REMOVING THE BUS LINES THROUGH THEIR CITIES TO KEEP DETROIT CITIZENS OUT OF THE BURBS. DEARBORN FOR OVERALL bytchASSNESS.

IF I DECIDED ON SERIOUSLY BOYCOTTING THEM FOR PERSONAL REASONS I'D GO DOWN THE LIST OF shyt I BUY FROM THEM AND FIND ALTERNATIVES. THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES. I'M NOT TOO LAZY TO FIND THEM. ANN ARBOR IS BIG ON SMALL BUSINESS.

THEY BETTER NOT MAKE THAT QUILTED NORTHERN THOUGH. THAT shyt IS LIKE WIPING YOUR ASS WITH SILK.:lawd::lawd:
