Forgot it was tomorrow and was looking for the game tonight before I realized it was Tuesday. Can't imagine the Lakers without Kobe. He's been with them for most of my NBA viewing career. I should bring out the jersey tomorrow in his honor.

I have been alive for 24 years about to be 25 in May. Four to five years of my life have gone by where Kobe Bryant wasn't playing for my Los Angeles Lakers. 5 of these years he has won the title and brought me great joy. When Shaq was here he was my favorite player but it quickly changed. Kobe was the kind of player I could try n be like. It's funny cuz I never followed thru those hoop dreams. But I kept that mamba mentality on the court and off of it. Thru bouts with depression I always had two sure fire things that brought me joy in darker times: star Wars and Kobe bryant and the Lakers but this is about Kobe lol. Some of my happiest moments in life are watching him play. I never got to see him in person play 
but I feel grateful regardless. Because I didn't just watch Kobe with my eyes I watched him with my heart. And I'll never forget him for it.

Kobe and I are the same age, so it's like one of the homies is wrapping it up. I remember the hype he had coming out of high school, taking Brandy to the prom, dudes hating from Day 1.
But ni**as knew he was nice on the court. He might have been a Jordan wannabe but dude was a cold blooded killer. A ballaholic with flair. He could be a chucker at times but earned that right.
Honestly it would be fitting if he dropped 30+ on Utah, or completely bombed out on some 2-19 type sh*t. Either way that's Kobe.
