I don't post in the seum often but..


Man this shyt still seems unreal. im in my late 20's and he's been in the NBA since I was 8 years old.

He's greatest player that I've had the privlege to watch in their prime from the beginning all the way to the end. I remember Jordan and the Bulls second 3-peat very vividly but I was still really young like 9-10 years old. When Kobe was entering his prime I was in junior high and most of the memories I have from my childhood/teenage years center around arguing wit my niccas and classmates over who was best in the league between Him T-Mac and A.I.. And of course by the time Phil came back to L.A. For the back to back championships I was an adult and in my 20's.

I was never the biggest fan but I always respected his greatness and considered him the best because for a long time it was pretty undeniable that he was. Years from now ,the kids coming up are not going to get a true sense of how great he really was by simply watching his game highlights on YouTube....
