Its kinda funny how nikkas who never played ball are the only ones to hate on Kobe. All his peers universally respect him the way they respected MJ in the 90s.

Kobe is basically the face of the post-Jordan era. When the history books are written, the 80s will be Magic/Bird, the 90s will be Jordan, and the 00s will be Kobe.

Haters pay your respects to the all mighty gawd.

I remember all the wars on SOHH about the two. I always thought Kobe was more complete but thought that as far as pure offense T-Mac had Kobe for a couple of years. I think T-Mac was really the only other player that could be plugged in with Shaq and come close to duplicating what him and Shaq did.

Man, if only he didnt get injured when Artest arrived. He would've/coul;d/ve been talking to Kobe a different way.

And now look at the Houston Raptors, eh, I mean Rockets.

I paid no homage in this thread. This mentality is partially whats wrong with TMac. He could be bitter. He sounds relieved. Easy for Fakeshow fans to feel good. As a person, i respect TMac to the fullest. A good person and humanitarian. But as a athlete, nigguh shouldve play baseball. He wasn't built for NBA. Even though JVG handicapped him, he shouldve won one of those game seven's. I wish Adelman could gotten to coach him before he went scrub.

That 09 series goes a different way if TMac and Yao was healthy. Suck on that. I bow to no man.

lol at tmac saying that he appreciates how kobe pushed him makes it seem like he is bowing his head to kobe. Kobe is the hardest working person in the nba whether you want to admit it or not, the both of them were friends better friends than you probably even realize. Tmac is someone who knows how to appreciate hardwork there is no bowing in anything he said. Get your delusional ass outta here.

who said anything about TMac bowing down beside Quik. Learn how to read, faqqot.

And maybe if TMac stop idolizing another man's hardwork and actually put in work him in the summers and offseason, he could've had similar sucess to Kobe.

I never get how a person can appreciate a positive attribute about somebody else in their same arena without ever trying it them damnselves.

Ed G is right. Nobody's responsible for the outcome of TMac's career than TMac himself. TMac couldve wait to get that surgery in the off-season the year Artest was there and couldve helped the Rockets in the playoffs but he chose to go the other route so he could "prolong" his career. If he was really as hungry to get aa trophy or even out tof the first round as he shouldve been, he wiouldve waited til the off-season to get the operation. Even if that meant not being the man or playing a lesser role next to Artest and Yao.

:salute: my favorite player of all time..stuck with him through thick n thin. As a kid he was the first player that truly mesmerized me. So smooth with the handles, unblockable jumper, and powerful dunks. Really made that shyt easy. Most stars are given teams that build around them, he had to earn his. I don't think another player will be able to recreate what he did for me. I will be watching you in China t-mac:to:
