Kobe Bryant: "Smush Parker was the worst. He shouldn't have been in the NBA but we were too cheap to pay for a point guard."

:deadrose:

smush must've smashed vanessa.

Nah, Smush honestly was the worst PG that Kobe ever had to play a full season with. Even Chucky Atkins was better. :scusthov:@GOAT franchise for wasting Kobe's best years with bum ass nikkaz.

The funny thing is I remember nikkaz hating talking about he needs to pass the ball more :childplease: the fact he bought those bum nikkaz into the playoffs against that tough western conference is crazy.

Game 7 of that Phoenix series has terrible revisionist history thanks to those shytty ass nikkaz. Come to think of it, how the fukk was Shaquille O'Neal traded for Lamar Odom, Caron Butler(eventually Kwame), Brian Grant, and a 1st(Farmar I believe)?

Mitch was public enemy #1 for a while with Laker stans cuz of this shyt. He made up for it with Gasol and now the GOAT starting 5 in history but it's an absolute basketball tragedy that Kobe didn't have at least one player worthy of sharing the ball with in 2006.

I love near the end of his career Kobe. He stopped giving a fukk in the past few years and doesn't sugar coat things in the media anymore. It's great. I really hope someone does a "Jordan Rules" style book about him and we get more great quotes from it.

Caron Butler and Chucky Atkins for Kwame was a travesty too. Those were back-to-back awful trades from Mitch.

The revisionist history has been on the Kobestan side. He fukked up that game 7. Trying to involve the teammates is one thing but he basically tried to make them win 4 on 5. He was setting up ISOs for guys like Brian Cook and Luke Walton and then standing 25-30 feet from the basket. He wasn't acting as a decoy, he wasn't trying to drive and dish, he just completely removed himself from the offense.

The Suns were the better team in that series and the Lakers shouldn't have been expected to beat them, but Kobe straight sabotaged that game 7. You can't give him credit for beating teams on his own and then co-sign that fukkery.
