read my post, do you see me saying he lacked anything? I didnt even mention da word lack once in my post. I'm not a Kobe stan nor a lebron stan. How much more prime can you get? The guy puts up other worldly numbers. 28=athletic prime, Lebron's game is predicated on athleticism, therefore Lebron's prime= nOW.
But even so, Lebron (despite his incredible talent) has already established a long track record of being a past world class choke artist. MJ???

Bron is finally starting to develop skills to compliment his athleticism. We've seen flashes of the footwork this year, but when Kobe got in his grill he reverted back to his comfort zone of tryna just out athlete Kobe. Before last year Bron's jumper was broke and streaky. This year he's starting to go in the post a little more. Kobe/MJ showed he needs to work on moves going to his left. His offensive cache of moves have always been behind his athleticism, but they're finally catching up. Bron is improving and that's why I say he's not in his prime yet. We have not seen the best of this cat yet.

Really, Mike's prime was in his 30's? Clearly someone didnt follow MJ's career. Sure he adjusted his game when he didnt have the physical attributes he came into the L with but Mike came in an absolute monster... niccaz threw Reggie Theus in the bushes.

He averaged more points because he was in full ballhog mode all of the time. 30-32 year old MJ was just as athletic and definitely stronger with more post moves and a jumpshot that was . 27-28 MJ would've beat both. And MJ at 30-33 wasn't close to the athlete a mid 80s Mike was. Eventually, the skills make up for the athleticism lost but there's only a few years where everything comes together. Bron is there right now. That 26-29 year age range is the best you're going to get from most superstars.

Couple things:

1. I've seen younger, less refined offensive game, Lebron give younger, still got his athleticism, Kobe work one on one in games that count so I'm pretty sure that what we saw last night is not fully indicative of what Bron would bring to the table one on one.

2. Bron is most certainly not a one on one player. He doesn't have that mentality. No denying that.

3. Bron is definitely in his prime right now. He may get a little better over the next couple years but he's clearly peaking.

Kobe vs Bron, Kobe is da better baller str8 up. Lebron is da better athlete. Bron b killin these dues in da nba because of his rare blend of size, strength and speed. Think of it, how many players have Lebron in the last 2 or 3 yrs played against dat are taller, bigger and faster than him. In a period of 1 gm, lebron uses actual nba skill maybe a couple times. a rare fadeaway here, a 3pt here. the rest is him catchin lobs, throwing lobs or out running guys down the court.

Dudes like Kobe n Jordan, there weren't the fastest, or the tallest, or even have the best handles, but they could beat their man one on one whenever they had to for that must score basketball. Even if Lebron is isolated on his man one on one, and dude is in front of lebron, the only 2 moves lebron has is to try and run by him wit a quick 1st step, or spin out of post up move. Kobe though, cn cross u over, step back fade, str8 shoot over u, so many moves. Same wit Jordan.

When you have to account for your teams playmaking and scoring it's kinda hard to put that type of energy on a player like LeBron. But obvious, with players that can carry the scoring load and create for others it's possible for Kobe to do what he just did.
