This is a good point, but at the same time I've seen Lebron pass the ball to a teammate who was well defended with 2 or 3 seconds on the clock just so he doesn't have to take a tough shot and hurt his percentage

I agree with you that Kobe is going to be Kobe at this point. I was just saying that he'd be an even better player if he thought more like Lebron in terms of shot selection.

That's stat padding and it hurts the team, that's what we're saying

It's funny that it feels like only yesterday I saw Kobe do this. Oh wait, it was yesterday. Oh wait again, it was yesterday and it happened more than once.

Kobe has proven he has little regard for field goal percentage but I can't pretend that it's coincidence that he is always able to get open for potential game winners but he's never able to break free for those end of the quarter heaves from behind half court.
