Kobe's played well this entire season, not just these past few games.

The difference is with these past few games he's seemed to be more committed to getting his teammates involved. I know that there are those of you who will say he's been trying to do that all season. You might be right to a certain extent, I just don't think you can do that in a meaningful way while shooting the ball 20 or 30 times. We'll see if he can keep it up.

To be honest, I don't know if the knock against Kobe has been that he can't pass. Contrarily, it's that he won't pass. The next month or so will show if he can sustain his pass-first (or at least not revert back to his shoot-only) approach. The Lakers have seven consecutive road games ahead with the finale coming in South Beach. Should be a decent test to see if they've truly turned the proverbial corner. At least five of them are easily winnable. So they should have no problem going at least 5-2, if not 6-1, even 7-0 :whoo: if this "Kobe Johnson" shows up consistently.

On another note, will someone tell this nikka to stop saying that the only reason that he decided () NOT to be Magic Johnson was that he stopped growing at 6'6". As if what made Magic Magic was those extra 3 inches. :shaq2:

my thing is this... why are we praising him now for FINALLY being unselfish rather than criticizing him for not doing so at the beginning of the season? Everyone who watches basketball without a bias knows he was shooting way too much and needed to stop chucking them out of games, and yet he continued to do it?

So now that he finally sees the light half way through the season after they're already below .500 and fighting just to make it into the playoffs when in reality, they should be a top 4 seed if Kobe plays like this all season, we're gonna act like the dude is doing something special?

That's really what makes Lebron so special is that his game adjusts on a nightly basis depending on what needs to be done to give his team the best chance to win. Need me to score 35? Cool. Oh, we're getting killed on the glass, cool, I'll crash boards. Someone to facilitate the offense? No doubt, I'll run the offense and get us good shots every time down the floor. Kobe's heating up in the 4th as the Lakers are threatening to make a comeback? Don't even sweat it, I'll lock his ass down over the final 5 minutes to ensure we get this W.

:heh: I don't know whats more hilarious, the dudes on here that love Kobe like he birthed them or the ones that hate him like an absentee father. I personally judge players based on what they do on the court, but there's a whole lot of TMZ type posters on this board :mjpls:

It is a true blessing to witness this level of greatness.
-Kobe is the best PG in the league
-the best SG consistently for 15+ years
- Played the 3 this season and shot a higher percentage during that time than any other 3 in the league
- Has hands down the best post game in the league. Better than ANY 4 or 5
- Plays the fiercest perimeter defense in the league. The last true lock down defender
- Gives the best interviews and doesn't kiss ass
- Doesn't play humble house nikka that's afraid to speak on black issues because cacs buy his shoes too
- Tops the athlete Forbes list and didn't have to give half of it to an Ex-Wife
- Didn't get his father killed and doesn't have illegitimate children dropping Worldstar videos
:lawd:
When has he done this? :leon:

:salute:

Yeah. And you're that one that plays on the fence. I guess since you're neutral that makes you smarter and better than the rest.

Let these nikkas have their fun. They're not bothering you.

:pachaha: Lol @ playing the fence. I'm just saying, it seems unhealthy to love/hate someone who much that neither knows nor cares you exist. Kobe is an athlete, not a politician or someone whose personal life should matter all that much. It's not a manly trait to be a gossip, all these comments about who he is married to or speculation about whether or not he has friends sound like they're coming from females :scusthov:
