Serious question.
What did Kobe do to you that was so bad?
Let me see...
So yeah, Kobe wasn't as good as Bron through those first 8 years. Didn't have the green light and didn't truly get off the bench until his third season.
But let's not downplay Bean's years with Shaq.
- He almost won 6th Man of the Year in '98.
- Was the youngest AS starter in history.
- Youngest All-D 1st Team in 2000.
- 3x champion
- 3x All-NBA 1st
- 2x All-NBA 2nd
- 3x All-D 1st
- 2x All-D 2nd
- 6x All-Star
- 2002 ASG MVP
Not to mention the 56pts in 3 quarters, 40+ppg over a month, 40pt scoring streak, 35pt scoring streak, 29/7/6 '01 playoff run, 30/7/6 over '03, etc, etc.
Dude was pretty good. Over that time period, the only perimeter player that could compete with that resume was AI. Timmy, KG, and Shaq would be considered better from '97-'04.

nothing
just admit the fact that his first 8 yrs dude was average
took him 3 yrs just to ave more than 20pts
They were average, but you stating that like it was his fault
Honestly you seem to be more obsessed with Kobe than his fans.

2nd tier player
2nd tier relative to who in his time frame and position?
I said timeframe and position breh. He was pretty clearly a first tier player over the course of '97-'04. Did you not read my original post saying Bron was better over his first 8 years?Bron...
