Kobe scored 40 and shot 60% in the last game against OKC. Pau was 5/14, Bynum was 4/10. There is no reason for Bynum to EVER be under 50%. EVER. To add insult to injury, Bynum only had 4 rebounds. That's right, 4. Sessions was 1/6 with 3 assist. The bench scored a total of 5 points. The point you say? the article writer is a f*ckin' idiot.

What'd he do for the series? Mike Miller shot like 90% the other night, should he be taking the majority of the Heat shots going forward? No I am not comparing Mike as a player to Kobe as a player I am pointing out how just looking at one game can give you a very skewed view of how a player performed. If he was capable of putting up efforts like that consistently then by all means he should go for it. They win it all if he does that every night. All the writer is pointing out is the fact that he is no longer capable of playing at the level consistently therefore he needs to scale it back. He's got two 7 footers up front who are more than capable offensively that no team in the league has an answer for. There is no way that Kobe's FGA should be going up at this point in his career with those two guys up front.

So is Kobe going to hang it up after the next 2 or is he going to go for the scoring title?

Hate. When you win 5 rings, this is how people treat you. People act like he didn't have an equally bad shooting percentage during his prime. He still balling. "HaHa Kobe won't get another ring"...does he need one?...he has more than any current superstar in the league

ok so first, even as a laker fan let's not act like Kobe didn't have help

Shaq was the dominant force on the first set and w/o pau there are no 3 straight finals, let's be real here

Brolic... Alcoholics
Ive been saying this for years.. even with the title.. anyone remember his game 7? we won that game cuz of Ron Ron.. Kobe has the mileage of a 20yr + vet, when you factor all the playoff games/olympics

I felt we actually played better this year when he was on the bench injured, we were in a nice lil win streak that's for sure. he dominates the balll way too much and jacks up way too many shots at this point in his career, he needs to be a decoy, draw the defense and maybe do 12-15 shots a game not 25+

While I do think Kobe is a top 10 all time talent, that doesn't mean I think he's playing like one now

I've even said a few times i think he should retire.. you're not MJ, never will be, so stop trying to break records and just go off into the sunset

and yes his salary does hurt us

until he decides to defer and relinquish the ball some, the lakers are in for some more dismal years, this is only the beginning, but like always we'll resurrect ourselves from the ashes

he's 33 and been in the league 17 yrs. are you fukkin' retarded?

the problem aint him giving up the ball. the problem is muhfukkas taking advantage of when he does give up the ball.

no need to seriously panic tho. we're only two yrs removed from a championship. we're alright.
