Kobe scored 40 and shot 60% in the last game against OKC. Pau was 5/14, Bynum was 4/10. There is no reason for Bynum to EVER be under 50%. EVER. To add insult to injury, Bynum only had 4 rebounds. That's right, 4. Sessions was 1/6 with 3 assist. The bench scored a total of 5 points. The point you say? the article writer is a f*ckin' idiot.
What'd he do for the series? Mike Miller shot like 90% the other night, should he be taking the majority of the Heat shots going forward? No I am not comparing Mike as a player to Kobe as a player I am pointing out how just looking at one game can give you a very skewed view of how a player performed. If he was capable of putting up efforts like that consistently then by all means he should go for it. They win it all if he does that every night. All the writer is pointing out is the fact that he is no longer capable of playing at the level consistently therefore he needs to scale it back. He's got two 7 footers up front who are more than capable offensively that no team in the league has an answer for. There is no way that Kobe's FGA should be going up at this point in his career with those two guys up front.
