I'm just not sure how anyone can watch this Lakers vs Nuggets game and honestly say Kob wasn't at minimum a top 5 player of all time

And ppl say he was selfish bc he didn't avg 7-8 assists...man was getting 5 dimes as a SG and I'm sure plenty more hockey assists

We'll never see another Mamba in our lifetimes...had to order 2 Kobe canvases today to put up in my mancave

Long live the Black Mamba

Was never gonna have high assist numbers in the triangle offense and yet he has the most assist among shooting guards all time :win:

Kobe very rarely handled the ball enough to rack up that many assists anyway

Problem is people assume he handled the ball as much as PGs do when he didn't, he played like how a wing should play, he didn't need to monopolize the ball in order to make an impact on either end

Watching Kobe live in person you realize how much he played off the ball...playing off the ball and still being the most dangerous player on the court is a lost art

:wow:

I love young Kobe. Dude was hungry and desperate to prove he belonged. To be an 18 year old kid in the NBA and looking off vets because you know you're going to be that dude takes a level of mental toughness and psychopathy that 99% of guys will never have. Bean alienated a lot of old heads early on and it didn't phaze his confidence in his ability. He got better at picking his spots, (he had to) but you can tell when he was young, the game was moving too fast for him. Seeing him grow from an undisciplined, overzealous phenom to a living legend who had mastered the craft was incredible. He went from Daniel-San to Mr. Miyagi in real time. His journey was special.
