A very ancestral quality about this scene. The chorus of 'mmhmm's in agreement.
A veritable Basketball God speaking Kobe, the next one, into existence.
My boy wasn't even in the room. So dope. Still my favorite All-Star Game.
I'll take that 8-Part series, someday. Once his girls are old enough to see it.
Wish they would've thrown something like this in there though. Ultimate respect at the end.

Still haven't seen this game. I stayed up following the box score updates on AOL when it happened though.
Went to bed pissed, but super happy with Kobe's game.
Had the highlights sitting in my youtube watch later folder for like 7 months .
It'll be good material for a Kobe documentary.
No way did Kobe sit for #TheLastDance and they only have 2 minutes from him.
I've seen the game (not live) but I'm due for a rewatch.
It was definitely one of those "not quite ready but it's coming" type of games. Same with some of those early Bulls seasons before Mike got over the hump.
That was my only gripe with Ep. 5. I know Bean recorded much more footage than that & they basically gave him half a bar. I know it's not his doc but plenty of other niccas been getting a lot more time. And I don't like that they didn't include him talking shyt b/c I know although he had the most upmost respect for MJ, he was like the only one not scared of him or so in awe that he would just roll over and he's said as much in other interviews.
