Bird coulda got one in 88/89There'd be no more rings if Larry/Magic didn't get hurt and won titles, because they'd just take away from the rings Jordan's teams won... the Pistons were getting theirs regardless. There's an argument to be made that Jordan could have won the two seasons he played baseball but eight titles in a row isto me.
Mine is clearly superior if you like actual success over empty stats.
Kobe has more rings than Magic & Bird
In '88 the Lakers won, so he would've just taken one away from Magic and you end up with the same difference. And I don't care if Bird stayed 100% healthy his whole career, Isiah and the Pistons were GETTING THROUGH regardless... if anything, the Pistons probably have a better "what if" case that they could have won 2 more titles.
Magic has 5 rings just like Kobe.
Bird would probably have 5 if he hadn't had back problems.
