yet another non-NBA pro athlete bringing up kobe out of nowhere as his primary inspiration

only MJ has had the same effect on non-basketball athletes
I dont think MJs impact is as personal as Kobe’s. Dude is the literal definition of hard work

Nike releasing a shoe in gigi and kobes honor. Ofc they just profiting off a tragedy as theres better ways to honor them but what gets me is the name of the shoe...."Girl Dad"...sounds like some LBGQT shyt. Even so, thats the best name u can come up with? :what:

shyt, Kogi is a better name and i made that up on the spot

since Juneteenth has most of us in a good mood, I watched to share some thoughts on my favorite player of all-time, even though I'm a diehard Knicks fan.

I just didn't appreciate playing incredible skills, the the about Bean I liked the most was his work ethic to always improve his game no matter how good he alteady was. I highly respected his mental toughness and high basketball IQ

He was highly intelligent in general, spoke three languages and the whole 9.
I would watch all his interviews on tv and the internet.

It's funny Kobe became my favorite player in 2003, then when I read the book the Mamba Mentality Kobe said himself that in 2003 that's when he knew nobody could guard him.

RIP Black Mamba and Gigi
