It's still the celebrity/Athlete/entertainer death that impacted me the most in my 44 yrs on this earth. Not Michael Jackson or even Prince hit me like Kobe's passing. I kept thinking I'm going to wake up and this will be just a dream.
Same... That was my guy. TMac, Vince, Pierce, and whoever else. People never compared them to each other. They compared them to one person.
I miss him like I miss a family member.

As we head to the third anniversary, two possible scenarios could’ve made this tragedy avoidable:
1.) Kobe looks up at the foggy sky and says, “Sorry, Gigi. We’re gonna take the car and be a little late to practice today.”
Or…
2.) The pilot says, “Kobe, the fog conditions are bad. The LAPD don’t even fly in this kind of weather. I’m sorry, but I’m not putting anyone’s life into my hands and I cannot fly you all today.”
In that case, Kobe would’ve never used him as a pilot again, but you know what? Everyone would be alive today.
Totally avoidable tragedy which is the most frustrating thing about it.

than Wilt’s 100 to me.Obviously wasn’t alive for Wilt’s game, but read where teammates stated they kept intentionally feeding the ball to him so he could reach 100 (Cats were getting on Devin Booker and the Suns when he did the same for his 70). Raptors were getting in the Lakers ass til Kobe erupted, he had to bring the team back and work for them points.

Never was one to feel any sort of way when a celeb died. Yes it would be sad but id go about my day. But this shyt got me fukked up the days following. Even to this day when i see clips of kobe I get this weird feeling that comes over me and just bums me the fukk out.
Time fukking flies. Wonder what he would be up to nowadays. I wished he would someday be back with the org in some capacity and what a bummer that will never happen.
