Still feels raw. Don’t think this will ever make sense to me. Went through the first few pages of this thread and the text from that day, still surreal.

Rest In Peace

It feels surreal every time I see his picture posted somewhere.

I remember shortly after the breaking news I called a homie like "yo! you hear what happened?!".

He was responded with nah.. Breaking the news, followed by 20-30 seconds of silence from him will always be stuck with me.

I’ve still never read these or opened up them yet . I can watch YouTube clips of past games but in terms of sitting down and reading I can’t

I was the opposite. I flooded my screen with Kobe clips and games, almost like I was still trying to hold on. It just became harder and harder as time passed to continue to watch, because reality started to set in.

I take comfort in the fact that dude was one of the rare human beings to find his purpose in life, and be one of the even rarer ones to be as great at it as he was. He’s probably on a list of only a 100 people to ever live.

I still feel for his young daughter who never got a chance to find hers or the other 7 that no one recognizes, and of course I wish Bean would have continued to live because he had so much to give:mjcry:

Feeling for all their families going through it today (everyday really) such a tragic thing man
