you’re not gonna find anything kobe related @ a reasonable price

there were some folks who ordered kobe funko pops on ebay prior to his death

when news got out that he passed...sellers cancelled said orders and raised the price

I really don't want to go and buy some Chinese joints...

Are they not going to make his shoes anymore?

They are the most worn shoes by players in both the NCAA and the NBA but it was always hard to find them in stores even in L.A.

idk...I heard rumors that nike out of respect doesn’t plan to sell anything kobe related anymore as it comes off looking like they’re profiting off his death...that will make his sneakers even more “rare” if true...so 3rd party sellers are gonna be overcharging for a hot minute

ITS THE WEIRDEST SHIIT EVER .... EVEN BEFORE HIS DEATH, KOBE SHOES WERE RARELY CARRIED AT FOOTLOCKER ETC.

YOU CANT GO ANYWHERE WITOUT SEEIN AT LEAST 10 DIFF STYLES OF JORDANS

BUT KOBE SHOES ARE A TRUE RARITY

SOME1 IS DROPPIN THE BALL BIG TIME ON A LOT OF $$$$ CUZ THEM SHOES IS IN HIGH DEMAND.. I PERSONALLY THINK HE HAS THE GOAT SHOE LINE, AND BY THE LOOKS OF IT, A LOT OF NBA PLAYERS AGREE.

you will still be able to get stuff but Nike pulled back on the kicks and jerseys because they knew these damn jackals will try to take advantage with the reselling.

Spots like Mitchell & Ness still have jerseys but their prices have always been high because you’re getting the best quality. No surprise there.

For now Nike is letting things cool down a bit because people are taking advantage of other people’s grief, which is disgusting. Obviously players will still be able to get their shoes since half the damn league never stop wearing Kobe’s even after his retirement. Can’t see Nike denying them.

But the name of the game now is making sure demand doesn’t cannibalize the supply and make these resellers rich. Wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t see accessible gear/retros until the fall to coincide with the start of next season to go along with whatever shoe they had planned for him already.

NBA players swear by Kobe’s shoes. Especially the 4s. When Kobe started being more hands on with designing his shoes, he used to talk ad-nauseum about the technology which allowed for sharper cuts and shyt . I thought he was just doing it for marketing purposes. Come to find out that shyt was true :wow::mjcry:

can’t imagine what Kobe would have done in the future.
