The most fukked up thing about this to me is how he fully embraced retirement and that dad life.

Think about all those years in the league after starting a family where he had to miss certain moments or events with them. Then after giving it his all since 18 years old in the league, he transitioned to life after basketball doing amazing things (bro won an Oscar last year I believe) and taking on fatherhood without the grind of an NBA season in the foreground.
