Regular planes are far safer than helicopters.

There is no concrete data on if helicopters are safer because they are a niche transportation...
...they are used in a lot in dangerous situations.

None of it matters anyway...not sure why folks are questioning why Kobe used a helicopter...he had the money, and it saved an hour in commute time...its that simple.
