I never know what to say with these kinds of topics.
A few celebrities and entertainers who I’ve enjoyed have died over the years, but I’ve really never felt the impacts of the deaths. Sad, sure, but I’ve never been emotionally invested enough to feel sad. Until now. This might be the first celebrity death I’m actually somewhat sad about.
I’m too young to have experienced Michael Jordan in his prime. Kobe was my generation’s Jordan (or LeBron, Magic, Bird, or whoever else you want to put in that tier) and his legacy will speak for itself. I was never even a huge fan of the guy, but he was inescapable and a true NBA legend. Just told my friend about this, and he started crying.
