this nikka might be the GOAT at his age

34 year olds

Kobe - 29 PPG, 5.2 REB, 5 AST, 1.6 STL 47%
MJ - 28.7 PPG, 5.8 REB, 3.5 AST, 1.7 STL 46%
Kareem - 23 PPG, 8.7 REB, 3 AST, 2.7 BLKS 57%

:wow:

I appreciate athletes able to ball at that age...Durant next

LOL @ Jordan's 3 assists per game, fukking chucker.:rudy:

I'm not even surprised by Kobe doing something like this. If he wants to, he could push that all time scoring record to damn near unreachable if he felt like he could play 5 more years at a high level

I love Kobe, but, lol @ the shots per game

:beli: this is the last season to criticize Kobe for how many shots he takes

he's shooting 48% from the field....38% from 3.....87% from the line

that's near the hallowed 50/40/90 that only the greatest shooters ever get near

only Durant is scoring more efficiently this season on so many shots

Its absolutely incredible that Kobe is having his most efficient scoring season at age 34 :damn:

20.7 shots game? that's trending kinda low for Kobe standards...for comparison's sake...so far this season he's averaging more points (29.5 to 28.7) on less shots (20.7 to 23.1) and better efficiency (.600 to .533 TS%) than MJ in his age 34 season...the whole 30 point streak is kinda one of those made up stats, but it definitely speaks to an actual point...he's having one of the better seasons this deep into a career by a guard in league history...it's basically just him and the GOAT MJ (who had signifacntly less milage at the same age) up there at the top...i've said it before, but him and Duncan are having special seasons as the old men in the elite player club

Kobe is doing his thing, but he's facing a different set of rules that allows him more freedom to operate on the perimeter than the rules jordan faced during that time. It's easier for perimeter players to put up big stats because some of the rules they outlawed. Keep that in mind.

:what: Why must you always chime in to discredit dudes with this BS all of the time? They both face different rules. Kobe still would've been Kobe back in the days too. Keep that in mind.

*waits for the dumb response because we been down this road since 2005 back on AHH.

This season; excellent

The OP's stretch; aight

That's it's 25 shots a game (I wasn't talkin' about the season); 174 shots over 7 games and the Lakers went 3-4

46%, 57%, 31%, 41%, 57%, 38%, 46%

It's aight, still a lot of shots
