A CP3 who has missed games in every series, a Kawhi who hasn’t been seen in 4-5 games and Giannis who got dismissed by most viewers going into this season isn’t traditional star power Trae was certainly not close in that tier and Book was called empty stats. There were very few noted playoff performers by even the second round, and it’s disingenuous to say anything else

Best case scenario - Giannis just has a hyperextended knee - that puts him out 2 weeks. I don't think they get past the Hawks without him playing at a high level. The Hawks smoked the Bucks with no Trae and Giannis playing.

Something tells me Giannis tries to give it a go and they let him. Like on some Embid shyt last series. It'll be harder though because Giannis' game is built on pure athleticism and play making. Embid actually has skills.

I mean, I get Giannis has the world's best doctors, drugs and rehabilitation methods available to him but we don't even know if he had ligament damage, the MRI is today. The Buck would be completely negligent to let him go out and play on 1, 3, and 5 days rest. Maybe if the Bucks found a way past the Hawks he could play in the Finals... but even that would be dicey IMO

This playoff is just proving which teams are deeper, I know this is the NBA and it’s star driven but a well constructed team with great depth is also indicative of a good team obviously.

Bucks would be fools to sacrifice their future and potentially have him damage his knee long term.

If they believe he is that guy, he should be able to get them back to ECF for many years to come.
