In the pre-KD title runs, Steph missed playoff games because of injury. Klay's performance in high pressure games without the #1 is on the record. Balled out.

Being the defined #2 (and occasional #3) and popping out as the #1 every 7 postseason games is still far easier than what Khris has to do breh. That’s all I was arguing from the jump

I have the same inner conflict to a smaller degree, bc this is literally the first conf finals I’ve witnessed without some of that major star power, but you can’t have that opinion AND be mad that sports media slurps major markets/superstars AND be mad that the league doesn’t shine a light on the new age of guys

I don’t think it’s the worst matchup in the world. If Reddish can maintain being as nice on D as I heard he was today, they got a body to wear down Book, which was really my biggest concern about their ceiling. I’d take Capela as an Ayton defender over Brook, even though the former will make the latter’s job way easier on defense

Bucks are obv a better matchup, but it’ll be a decent series either way

Just before the Giannis injury i was gonna post that the Bucks were playing a dangerous game if they were gonna wait until the 4th quarter to figure shyt out; even if you let the injured desperate home team punch you in the face in the 1st quarter, you can't keep playing stupid games for 3 straight quarters...

The playoffs have been fun. Unpredictable. Parity. About the "team" and not the "superstars" that sport's media constantly d-rides. And yet still, strong ratings.

All the things people claimed the nba always lacked/couldn't have. The injuries do suck but what we've seen on the court has been pretty good.
