I don’t understand how as a defender your arm can be occupying space (and not touching the offensive player) and the offensive player can swing his arms through (which isn’t a natural shooting motion as far as I’m concerned) and into your arm and that’s a foul

to me that should be no different than when you beat an offensive player to a spot and draw a charge
