As a dude that hated the Knicks because they were a nemesis to all the teams I liked (Bulls and Heat) had classic battles with the Pacers, etc.
I want to see them rise back into that team we hated, it won't be like that again, but I feel bad, they need something. Such a sad franchise

They know if Zion ain’t in New Orleans NOBODY is watching them especially since Davis is obviously leaving
They had to fix that situation. Plus New Orleans is a really nice city that deserves a nice team and fan base
There’s a reason they got 2 all star games in like the past 6 years
AS FOR THE KNICKS?
They’ll still be one of the most popular team in the nba with Durant and maybe Kyrie going there
Having Zion in NYC with KD and Kyrie would’ve be overkill
And also Knicks would’ve traded Zion for AD which isn’t good for the #1
And most importantly isn’t good for Lebron and the Lakers.
Everything worked according to plan today

New Orleans doesn’t deserve shyt. It’s not a basketball city period.
They’ve been blessed with three generational talents in the last 15 years. Chris Paul, Anthony Davis, Zion Williamson.
Haven’t managed to build a winner and haven’t managed to attract fans.
Routinely one of the worst teams in attendance with an awful rebrand.
