Listening to ESPN radio right now and they just expressed the exact thing I was thinking.

People from New York are so entitled they aren't even aware they are entitled. They feel like they should get everything just because... it's New York.

• 2010 - How dare LeBron not wanna play in New York.
• 2019 - How dare the NBA not give New York the top pick

That whole nonsense that the NBA is better when NY is competing for a championship is nonsense. They haven't seriously contended in over 20 years (last Finals appearance was 94) and the NBA has thrived during that period. Many teams have never gotten the 1st overall pick and have thrived. Miami Heat being one of them. The highest pick they ever got was the 2nd and they blew it with the Michael Beasley pick but then again Beasley was the concensus #2 if not #1 player in that draft

These threads are inspired by people like me who are tired of NYers who feel like they deserve the biggest piece of the pie in everything that's being share. NY has sucked the last 20 years and the product (NBA) still thrived. Noone owes you a darn thing. Any other team that doesnt get the 1st pick be like "oh well we didnt get it". NY doesnt get it and they talk like "The NBA IS STUPID blah blah blah" You dont need to go far to see what im talking about. You seen the threads from Knicks fans on this very forum complaining as if the NBA owed it to them to give them the 1st pick. THAT sir, is what we call entitlement.

I aways tell people i'm more prone to like things and people than hate. When i see everyone hating someone i always question WHY and also find reasons for me to like them. People like LeBron and Dwight Howard that people love to hate...i find things about them to like.

I live in Atlanta but I'm not from there.
But if you wanna go there with me, as I've always told you guys ironically, most chicks I date are from New York who moved south. My current main chick is Guyanese but raised in NY since she was 2 so she's a hardcore unapologetic NewYorker herself.
What can I say? NY chicks tend to show me love so I love them right back.
Even the ones in New York have shown me love. Whenever I'd fly into NY I'd turn on Tinder and they see a "black engineer in town for business but with time to kill and wanna explore the town. Would love some company for dinner and bar hopping" on my Tinder profile and they hop on it quick since their grimy NY boyfriends always working 2 jobs to keep up paying for that glorified closet of an apartment and can barely afford to take them out.
