There's footage of Spike and Reggie talking cash shyt to each other, and Reggie GOING OFF on the Knicks.....and Ewing actually telling Spike to stop. As if Spike is on the team guarding Miller.

Don't remember if it was regular season, but I think it was playoffs and have never been able to find it online. Funniest shyt ever, and I was a fan of Ewing's.

Spike Lee always been on the other side of some memorable moments.

For accurate reference, the Reggie "Choke" that everyone always shows/GIF'd was in '94. We beat the Pacers that year...

That was Game 5 to put them up, and we beat them the last 2 games. Patrick had a 20 & 20 game with like 5 blks in Game 7. So, they choked

The 8 point in 8 seconds was Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Indiana won that series 4-3 and You’re correct, The Choke GIF was in the 1994 playoffs game 5 and Knicks won that.

I ain't trying to sound sexist but I've never heard a female commentator call a great sports moment with the same enthusiasm as a male commentator :francis:

We used to have the GOAT Marc Zumoff :ohlawd: . but after he retired, we've been forced to listen to shyt like this.

Yeah I know the 8 points was '95. I watched all of these series live, and still get teased by my HS friends about those series lol. For a while, I still continued to rewatch the replays on NBA/ESPN Classics when that was a thing. But people always use the "choke" to show Reggie killing us, when they actually lost that series. Hell, Reggie bricked the go-ahead shot after Ewing's putback, and after winning that game, lost game 6 at home and game 7...so they choked. And Reggie was 3-3 against us overall in the playoffs...we won '93, '94 (choke GIF) & '99...they won '95 (2 - 3s), '97 & '00...and the regular season record wasn't even close to even. People just seem to think they were the same series, when they weren't.

‘98 , pacers beat Knicks then played the bulls in the ecf

Knicks fans always complain about that series and say they would've beat the Bulls if they made it to the ECF(they wouldn't), but I'm sure if you ask the Heat they'd rather have lost that series than have what happened the next 3 which is the Knicks beating them in winner take all games 98, 99, 2000

Thanks for the correction. I always mix up '97 & '98, cause of when Ewing shattered his wrist and the fight. The storyline is better as '98 being the year of the fight, and '99 is the revenge...instead of that year in between. The irony is that it was our rule created because of Greg Anthony/KJ that hurt us in multiple series.

I don't think we beat the Bulls in '98 either had we beat the Pacers. That was the transition Knicks and we were struggling to find an identity. The only hypothetical year I think we beat the Bulls is '95. And Ewing was still beasting Shaq then, so that was the best year. Honestly, Pacers weren't even on our radar until '98 and Ewing was a shell. The regular season games became more intense after '94 but we didn't fear them.
