Thread starter needs to worry about the decrepit, disgusting Atlanta Hawk franchise who never gets anything right and is the laughing stock of the NBA.

The only ones i see really contributing out of those are Camby and Kidd.

And really... that's All they need. Sheed and Thomas will probably barely see the court. Thomas even more so than Sheed.

Let's look at the "depth/death" of the Knicks

1.Carmelo
2.Amare
3.Chandler
4.Shumpert
5.Felton
6.Kidd
7.JR Smith
8.Brewer
9.Novak
10.Camby

11. Prigioni (Pass first point guard that played overseas for years... see the Olympics)
12. Rasheed (Non-Guaranteed Contract)
13. Thomas

14.TBD
15.TBD

The Knicks have to go 11-12 deep to even see Rasheed, Thomas, or Prigioni on the court. And depending on who they keep/pick up for the last two spots, they could be even further down the list. Remember that they are still considering Josh Howard and Kenyon Martin.

Nobody in the starting line-up is over 30... And the two players in the second unit that are over 30 are still more efficient than most back-ups at their respective positions. Kidd still get's assists, plays defense, and shoots the 3. And Camby still rebounds and plays defense/blocks shots.

Now tell me.... How many minutes do players that are the 12th man get on average? And how much affect do they really have on the game?

Furthermore... when the playoffs start, It's usually no more than a 8 or 9 man rotation, unless someone gets hurt.

47-35. Second round playoffs :win:. The future is bright :obama:

So wait... you think the Hawks will finish 47-35?

Even if you don't think the Knicks have a chance to even make it to the finals, do you think Knicks will be better than the Hawks?

And if you do at least come to that understandable and logical conclusion, how can you be so down on the Knicks?

If the Hawks can win 47 games next year... the Knicks should be able to win at least 55...

Why should we EXPECT anything close to 50 wins for the Knicks when last year the core of this squad that is basically still intact finished 6 games above .500 and got bounced out the 1st rd. Now they're older even older with Kidd, Sheed, Camby, and Thomas :flabbynsick:

The Hawks who finished 4th without an all star in Al Horford lose Joe Johnson and Marvin Williams but add Devin Harris, Lou Williams, and 3 pt shooters in Morrow and the rookie John Jenkins.

After last year, you'd think Knick fans would just take the wait and see approach. Yall really don't know what yall getting outta this squad.

LMAO at these Hawks fans who actually believe the Hawks will have a better season than the Knicks!

Your bottom of the barrel squad will be lucky to make the playoffs.

Whoa buddy.... Every comment that I made was with relation to the person that I quoted genius. The hate is blinding you so much you didn't see the connection. I didn't say that I think the knicks will have 50+ wins.... I said if HE thinks the Hawks will have 47 wins, then HE should believe the Knicks will have 50+, considering the Knicks SHOULD be better than the Hawks.

The Knicks that lost in the first round had a sick Chandler, a hurt Amare, a hurt Shumpert, an underachieving Landry Fields, and Bibby/Baron playing the point.

Then you say they got older... but the "Old" people that will be getting any significant minutes will be Camby and Kidd. Now you're telling me you wouldn't want Camby and Kidd coming off your bench?

You've got be logical and not use blind hate. The Knicks had no training camp with a pretty new team and were plagued with injuries. Even they had the same team as last year they would be better. But the team they have now is better anyway... particularly defensively. Nobody is saying that they are winning the championship this year. Ya'll just like to act like we're saying it so you can say we're delusional Knicks fans.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, the Knicks would have lost in the first round against the Heat, regardless. I'm just saying, if they were healthy, they probably could have pulled out another win, and they should be better this year than they were last year.

I swear yall were saying the same thing last year round this time but here's the facts:

One of our best players didn't play all season and we still finished ahead of your team.

We lost a 18 pt a game ball stopper but added nothing but young speed to the team while yall got older.

I'm just saying don't be surprised if the Knicks aren't sitting pretty this season like yall expect them to be. Specifically in relation to the Hawks.

This is with whom you place your faith?

Raymond Felton is just a good as Devin Harris
Shumpert is just as good as Lou Williams
Novak and JR are just as just as good as ANY 3 point shooter you have

And I didn't even have to mention the best players on the team. Chandler might not be as good offensively that Al Horford, but he's definitely better defensively. But that doesn't matter when you have Melo on floor.

The biggest worry I have about this season is how Amare will play... and that's looking good from what I've seen.

Realistic, True, But Very Safe

I'll Be The 1st To Tell You , These Motherfukkers Better Up The Ante This Year

Im Not Here TELLING You Guys Whats Gonna Happen, I Dont Know What's Gonna Happen

Im Taking These Changes In The East Into Account And Setting The Bar For This Underachieving Team I Expect More Out Of

Bottomline Is Enough Of The Bullshyt Drama And Bad Seeding, Get A Top 3 Seed And Go To Work
Exactly if melo and amare are healthy we should be a top seed . Melo + amare >>> jsmoov, horford and add on chandler we should be straight

Yall got the Hawks beat at every position huh? We shouldn't be able to see yall on the court at all then.

No more excuses :mjpls:

We didn't say that last year we were saying we needed a pg since we lost Chauncey to get chandler . The hawks got younger and inexperienced too.
Our core bench is jr, shump/brewer, Novak Kidd camby. We got older ROLE players our core isnt and we see how melo performs the season after the Olympics while stat is looking good. Last year he couldn't even play a full game yet
