man. i really love 'dale, but since we ain't got no deep threat, i don't think he should be starting or be in the rotation. my man is frustrated and is just not in command. i think jt and braxton would be a more deadly combo and leaving them both on the field majority of the time would cause fitz for any defense.

Dale still my favorite Buckeye, but we can't run the zone read with him and thats a big part of our offense. I was watching Houston run it last week and was getting sick.

Nah. It's the same as before. We're here if he wants to be here. He already knew before that he'd have to compete and he doesn't have a problem with it, just like we don't have a problem with him going on visits. It's cool.

honestly, this might sound crazy. but i think we should bench dale, and if we finish the season undefeated - lord willin' no malcolm - we bring back dale as our starter for the whole postseason

Truth... I'm starting to thing he should of just went to the NFL with Smith cause without a deep threat Cardale just ain't as effective.
Cardale/ Devon Smith/ Zeke was a DEADLY combo. But take away the deep threat(Smith) and it just aint the same.

This year we are more built towards Zone read and Running game with JT/ Braxton/ Zeke...We could drop 50 plus every game if we stuck with that.

Time to roll with Joe Thomas Barrett. I think we'll still see Dale in some capacity because Urb really loves dude like that, but he knows he had to make the decision that he felt was best for the team. I still think we're going undefeated this season no matter who played at QB.
