Did any LA country have a civil rights movement? That's what separates the USA from the rest of the Americas. Just saying.
That's because they didn't need one. There were no particular laws that needed to be abolished in any Latin American country that i know of, that specifically targeted blacks, like Jim Crow.
The fact that we needed a civil rights act in the U.S. shows how much worse institutional racism was in the U.S. regarding blacks. And not saying it doesn't exist in Latin America, just saying there are levels to this shyt.
Most of the worst racist policies, massacres etc. in Latin America in the 19th/20th century were targeted towards "Indios" (Natives).
By the way, if things are so bad for blacks in Latin America, why have we never seen a mass exodus of blacks from Latin America like we've seen with non-blacks (indios, mestizos) for instance
