LSA can be wild. IMO, when I first started coming on The Coli - I thought the same. I have to say It's gotten better due to me not going in certain threads, plus I speak up for myself when I need too and -- I have lots of people on my "ignore list."

With that being said...

The thing about LSA is it has separate "alley's" that are non-Black American or frequented and dominated by either White/Others or non-Black American Women. On these forums you will see most of the threads being mentioned as Anti-BM. But, in every thread like this - you see BW going in or checking them. Most sane BW on LSA don't even go in those alleys or thread cause it's dumb and toxic.

The main ones are:

• The IR Alley
• The Michael Jackson Alley
• The Prince Alley
• The Africa Alley

Those IR Allet led to the formation of:

• The Womanist/Feminist Alley
• The Colorism Alley

My issue is the claim that most BW on LSA are co-signing or silent about such content and rhetoric. That's not true.

Do Black women talk about, discuss, share info and/or bytch about BM on LSA? Yes.

Do Black women hate BM on LSA? No.

Do BW want White men on LSA? Those who post in the IR alley and the other listed alley's - as they all hang around the same forums together

We've been known this. Couldnt protect us from both the European AND Arab slave trade in many parts of Africa, couldn't protect us from colonialism, couldn't protect Black families in the new world. Where are the amazing countries run by them? Most just care about sex, not building anything substantial (yes, I know MANy BM that are amazing, but c'mon, yall know what Im saying).
