Nothing wrong with that. I have a question for you, though. If Cousins was black, would he be talked about as poorly as he is talked about on here? I hate to be that guy, but I really have a hard time believing that.

Cousins is meh but the argument before was he isn't starting material. He IS starting material..at least this year he is. He has also improved albeit against weaker defenses.

That's why his completion percentage was so high. He had amazing receivers who could get a lot of yards after the catch even with short passes.

The argument used against black qbs who had seasonal success was, "they simplified the offense". This was used against Cam early in his career, Vince young, and RG3. I am not hearing that with Cousins. Gruden had to scale back that offense because Cousins was a pick machine. This success is a mirage. They get exposed when they play against quality teams....

I agree. I do think there's nothing wrong in acknowledging that he has improved while at the same time he's getting the benefits that a black QB simply would not get. I don't think ther's anything wrong with simplifying the offense. I do dislike how people use that to shyt on black QB's though.
